Course Content:

The NEBOSH International General Certificate is based on international standards and most excellent practice. It contains three units that should be successfully completed within five years to achieve the NEB0SH International General Certificate qualification:

Management of international health and safety (IGC1)

Controlling workplace hazards (GC2)

Health and safety practical application (GC3)

Assessment Method:

Units IGC1 and GC2 are Theory units both assessed by two-hour written examination. Every written test consists of ten "short-answer" questions and one "long-answer" question. All questions are compulsory. Candidate scripts are distinct by external examiners selected by NEBOSH.

Unit GC3 is essentially a project of carrying out health and safety examination in the candidate's own workplace. The project report must be submitted to the course supplier within 14 working days from the start of the written assessment. The confirmation of the project report is internally assessed by the course supplier and externally moderated by NEBOSH.
